The Silver Moon Drive-In Theatre in Lakeland, Florida opened April 14, 1948. Ticket prices were only 35 cents. The neon sign and marquee from 1952 still remains today. This is a 2 screen drive-in theatre that usually shows first-run movies. Each screen shows double features. Open seven days a week. Listen to the movies on your FM car stereo. They do have in-car speakers in some rows. The snack bar is decorated with a nostalgic drive-in movie theatre theme.

Current Silvermoon Drive-In movie admission prices as of March 2010: Ages 4-9: $1.00. Ages 10 and up: $4.00. For current prices, current movies, and current information, please check their website.

This drive-in also has a flea market / swap shop. The flea market / swap shop days and hours are: Thursday Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at 5:00 a.m. There are set-up prices if you wish to sell. Customer admission and parking is free.
