The Midway Drive-in Theatre in Minetto, New York opened in the summer of 1948. The Midway Drive-in still has nostalgic drive-in speakers in the first six rows. Movie sound is also broadcast on 87.9 FM in stereo.

According to their website, "Pets are discouraged but allowed provided they are: not vicious, are quiet and kept on a leash at all times, and under the supervision of an adult. Please “walk” the tree line with your pet, not the ramps or the area in front of the screen, it‘s your responsibility to clean it up. Pets are not allowed in the concession building."
