Stamey's Barbecue in Greensboro, North Carolina has been in business since 1938, serving Lexington style BBQ. Stamey's has been at this location since 1953. In 1979 the current building replaced the 1950's drive-in at this same location. The barbecue is still slow cooked over a pit of hardwood hickory coals.
