About

Saratoga Grill in Hillborough, North Carolina opened in February 1995, and, although it's not an old restaurant, it's listed at Retropolis because it's located in a great old building. The owners moved to North Carolina from Upstate, New York. The first restaurant one of the owners worked for was in Saratoga Springs, New York. That's how it got it's name. Saratoga Springs, NY is well known for horse racing, and the owners of the restaurant are horse fans, so you'll notice that the horse logo suits Saratoga Grill perfectly.

According to their website, they are best known for New England clam chowder, honey almond salmon, and homemade scones.

Be sure to search Retropolis for more restaurants in old buildings in North Carolina, plus a variety of unique places from the past! Just click on TRAVEL.
