Diner on Main

Diner on Main is an original Googie diner in Alhambra, California, designed by Googie architectural firm Armet & Davis. We are not sure if it was built in the 50's or 60's. The diner was originally named Prebles. Then, it was known as Sandi's Family restaurant. And now, it is known as Diner on Main. Diner on Main is a 50's theme restaurant with Marilyn Monroe and James Dean on the walls (not the original decor from when this diner was built). It's different than the average 50's theme diner though; this one has flat screen televisions on the walls. Also, it has a full bar.
