Clearman's North Woods Inn in San Gabriel, California is very well loved by those who appreciate a restaurant with the original old-school decor. The restaurant is designed to look like a log cabin or tavern up north, with fake snow on the roof, lanterns, log walls, beams across the ceiling, and stained glass windows and lamps. Signs announce that you should throw your peanut shells on the floor. I'm not sure when it was built - maybe the 1960's?
