Aglamesis Bros. is an original, old ice cream parlor in Cincinnati, Ohio. It all began in the late 1800's when two brothers came over to America from Sparta, Greece. The oldest brother was only sixteen, but he came over to the US to help out his Greek family because his father had passed away. The brothers learned the ice cream trade, opened up an ice cream parlor in 1908, and later they opened the one at this location in 1913. As an ice cream parlor, Aglamesis Bros. has kept it authentic, with it's original antique tin ceiling and marble topped fountain. They also have candy. Their chocolate covered creams are made from scratch.
