Rosepointe Cottage Tea Room is located in a historic home in Chardon, Ohio that was built in 1839. I am not certain of the hours, but it is open for lunch and afternoon tea.

Mary Yoder's Amish Kitchen in Middlefield, Ohio has been open since 1987, so it's not really a vintage or antique restaurant, nor is the decor old, however, the restaurant serves old fashioned Amish cooking. Since the cooking is so old fashioned, Mary Yoder's Amish Kitchen belongs at Retropolis.com. Please click on the link to their website for more information.

Location

Casa Vega Restaurant is an original 50's Mexican restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California. Established in 1956, Casa Vega is easily recognizable by it's neon Casa Vega signs and large CV topiary letters on the corner of Ventura and Fulton. 

Casa Vega was featured on the Bravo TV show "Flipping Out" with Jeff Lewis in August 2010. I am waiting to see further episodes to see if Casa Vega made any big changes.

Location

The Parkette Drive-In Restaurant is an ORIGINAL1950's drive-in restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky.  It originally opened November 11, 1951. The tremendous and fabulous Parkette Drive-in sign was created in the mid 50's for around $10,000. According to their website, about $1,000 is spent every year to maintain the 30 to 40 foot sign and to replace the transformers and lights.  read more...

Peaches Corner is an original 1930's restaurant in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Peaches Corner is famous for their foot long hot dogs and for their burger baskets. Established in 1937.

We don't have any information on the Virginia Restaurant and Lounge in Carrollton, Ohio, but we do know that it has a cute vintage plastic sign outside with a hamburger and a mug of beer on it, so that does give us some idea of what they might serve here. :-)  Anyone been?

Horne's Cafe and Markethouse Catering is located in an old building that was known for many years as Horne's Drug Store in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The outside of the building has a beautiful original old vitrolite facade and fabulous art deco sign letters. In addition to tables and chairs inside and outside, there is also counter seating inside with stools. Horne's Cafe and Markethouse Catering opened in 2010.

Location

The Deck House Casual Dining Restaurant is located in a renovated 1940's Presbyterian church in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. Although the church was built in 1945, the restaurant doesn't have a 40's theme. The decor inside is casual nautical. A few of their menu items include hot crab dip, grouper chowder, New Orleeans style shrimp & grits, stuffed chicken breast, surf & turf, and more!

Steven's Steak House & Seafood in Commerce, California still has a fantastic original vintage neon sign outside, but I'm not sure how much of the original decor remains on the inside. We're also not sure how long it has been open.
