Drive in

The Hob Nob is a 50's drive-In restaurant in Sarasota, Florida. It opened March 12, 1957 and is the oldest drive-in in Sarasota. Seating is outdoor, open air, covered seating - bar stools at a counter and picnic tables. They serve hamburgers, hot dogs, floats, coffee - the drive-in classics.

Carlson's Drive-in Restaurant  in Michigan City, Indiana opened in 1955. There was originally a roller rink under a tent at this location in 1947 that served hot dogs and cold drinks. In 1955, that was torn down, and the root beer stand that you see today was built. They serve rootbeer, hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, fries, apple fritters, lemonade and more! Kermit's Hot Dog House is a 60's drive-in restaurant in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Kermit's serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It still looks very vintage, including neon signs. There are picnic tables outside and  smaller sized blue booths inside. Cash only.

We're not sure how long King Chicken Drive In Restaurant in Washington, North Carolina has been in business, but it has been there for years. There are no seats. You can eat in your car or take it with you.

Flo's Kitchen is a cross between a drive-in restaurant and a diner in Wilson, North Carolina. It doesn't have a drive-thru window. You just pull into the parking lot and someone will come out to the parking lot with a pad and pen to take your order. There is just a small amount of seating inside, but you can go inside if you'd like and someone will wait on you. Flo's Kitchen is known for the biscuits.
