Maurice's BBQ Piggie Park originally opened at this location in 1953. You can't miss it on Charleston Highway because of the tremendous 100 foot tall vintage Bar-B-Q sign with a pig on it. It lights up at night - dazzling! A vintage gem of a sign! Today there are multiple Maurice's Barbecue locations in South Carolina!

Mama Steve's House of Pancakes is a 60's - 70's pancake house in Williamsburg, Virginia. It originally opened in 1968 and it appears as though the decor hasn't changed over the years, so if you like original, old pancake houses, you'll enjoy this one.

Modernway of Palm Springs, California carries mid-century modern furniture, lightning, art, and accessories. If you love the show "Kathy Griffin - My Life on the D List" you might catch this store on one of the episodes. I just happened to see it tonight. Kathy Griffin and Lara Spencer went shopping here for furniture and decor for Kathy's home.  As someone who loves Kathy Griffin's comedy, and as someone who loves mid-century modern decor, this scene was the perfect combo. Scott Shady Court Motel in Winnemucca, Nevada is an ORIGINAL vintage motel that still has an original vintage neon sign, complete with the motel's version of a starburst / sputnik lamp on top. This motel is a vintage GEM!

Heated indoor pool, cool vintage playground (probably from the 50's), and you'll even find vintage chairs in the rooms and lobby. This place hasn't added old stuff to give it a nostalgic feel; the old stuff it has is the ORIGINAL old stuff.
