Captain Bill's Waterfront Restaurant  in Morehead City, North Carolina is the oldest restaurant in Carteret County. It began in 1938, but has been at this location since 1941. A sample of their menu: homemade hot crabmeat dip, Core Sound clam chowder, Famous Conch Stew, steak and fried shrimp, homemade crabcakes, grilled tuna, grilled chicken breast filet, oyster burger, and chocolate chess pie.
