New Zealand - what a gorgeous country. It's known for it's pure nature (and lately, Xena and Lord of the Rings). You can go bungee jumping, hiking, jet boating, and .... you can experience art deco Napier.

 

If you love art deco architecture, you won't want to miss it. An earthquake destroyed much of the old city of Napier in 1931, so Napier was rebuilt in the early 1930's when art deco was still very popular. Nearby Hastings also has great art deco architecture.
