Reminiscing with Little River Band

When I heard a commercial on TV recently for a new Will Ferrell movie, I couldn't help but look over at the TV when I heard Will Ferrell singing along to the song "Reminiscing" by the Little River Band. It made me reminisce about how much I love that song, and how much I love the smooth sounds of the late 70's and early 80's.

I love when a movie or TV show reintroduces a great song of the past to a generation that hasn't heard it before. The TV show "Glee" did that with a song from one of my favorite bands of all time, Journey. "Don't Stop Believing" went to the top of the charts this year because of that, reaching number 1 on I-Tunes, and making the top 10 on the radio in the UK. Now kids around the world know "Don't Stop Believing", thanks to Glee. 

Since Retropolis is so much about reminiscing, here's a live performance of the song "Reminiscing." May this song have it's second chance on the charts too.
