PARTY TIME!!! It's the weekend!!! Wooo Hoooo! Time for Hat Making Contests and Jimmy Crack Corn!!!

These wild and crazy teenagers get together to throw a party and decide to call their guests rather than send out written invitations. Sometimes it's nice to change it up a little.

 

My favorie parts of the party are the hat making contest (who DOESN'T like a hat making contest at a party?), the excitement over the announcement of refreshments, and the grand finale - when one fellow just happens to casually let the guests know he can play the piano, then they all gather around to sing "Jimmy Crack Corn".

 

Seriously, I actually do love vintage hats, singing around a piano, and I love when food is called "refreshments". It's so old school, and yet also ...refreshing.
