Mother - Starring Albert Brooks and Debbie Reynolds

Mother's Day is coming up, and I thought I'd share the trailer for the film "Mother", one of the best comedies of the 90's. It's about a science fiction writer who just got divorced, so he decides to move back in with his mom as a project, hoping this will give him a better understanding of women and why he has had failed relationships. To try to reexamine his life, he even goes as far as to try to recreate his old bedroom by dragging out his old posters, old toys, old sci-fi collectibles, old lava lamp, and everything else that was stored away from his childhood and teen years.

I especially got a kick out of the generation gap in this movie. His mom has a difficult time figuring out how to use call waiting and the camera phone, and she buys off-brand ice cream that stays in the freezer so long that it gets quite a case of freezer burn.

If you haven't seen "Mother", watch it the next time you need a good laugh. Debbie Reynolds and Albert Brooks played a hilarious mother and son pair.

Thank you to rufenerb for posting the "Mother" trailer on YouTube.
