Montana - Black Whistle Singers in Crow Agency, MT

In our Retropolis tour of the United States, our next stop is Crow Agency, Montana. The dancers are from Crow Agency and the music is by the Black Whistle Singers. A trip around America would never be complete without a tribute to the native people of this great land.

Growing up, I always wished I had more opportunities to see Native Americans. Although my family is not Native American, my grandfather had a real passion for Native American history, and when he shared that history with me, he spoke with such respect of the Indians, that he passed that respect on to me. I know he would have absolutely loved this video. The music, the costumes, the dancing, and the people in the video make me think about what this land looked like before the European settlers came over.
