Idaho - The Caldwell Outdoor Drive-in Movie Theater
About five years ago or so I wrote about our local Starlite drive-in movie theatre in Durham, NC with concern for it's future. It is now closed, and it is highly unlikely that it will open again. So, if you have a drive-in near you, visit it. Or, next time you are taking a trip somewhere, see if there is a drive-in nearby. A drive-in takes up so much land that often the land is so valuable these days that it is sold to a big box retailer. Drive-in movies are an important part of American pop culture history, and should be treated as such. History shouldn't be torn down. Kids of the future will certainly want to experience it too. Anybody who sees the drive-in scene in the movie Grease will surely want to go.
Thank you to doedeedum for giving people the opportunity to see the drive-in located in Canyon County - Caldwell, Idaho. I believe it is called the Terrace Drive-In. Location: 4011 S Lake Ave, Caldwell, Idaho.

I live in Caldwell for school
I live in Caldwell for school and the drive in is so fun! When I was younger I lived in Soda Springs Idaho where there is also a drive in up and running. There are the speakers that you put on your window and the original snack bar and everything. it's a great drive in and the local people give alot of support!
