How to make Snow Cream

We're excited that we finally got snow here in the South. We only get a few days of snow a year, so we try to make the most of it by making snowmen, sliding down whatever hills we can find (we don't have a sled, so sliding will do), admiring the sound of silence that comes with snow, enjoying the crunch we hear when we walk in it, gazing at the brightness of all that whiteness, etc.

One thing I have never tried to do with snow is make snow cream. I found this good old fashioned recipe for snow cream on YouTube that looks like it would be fun for people to try before the snow melts. Thank you to Genna040790 and her Momaw for creating this video and uploading it to YouTube. It's such a creative use of snow - a sweet and cheap treat!

A bowl of clean snow
2 scoops of sugar
1/4 cup of milk
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
