Happy 60th Birthday Stevie Wonder! 1968 - The Ed Sullivan Show

Today is Stevie Wonder's 60th birthday! To celebrate, here's Stevie Wonder performing "For Once in My Life" on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1968. This is one of my favorite Stevie Wonder songs. One thing I find about Stevie, is that when he performs live, each performance is different. That's because music just pours out of his soul and just goes where it needs to go. When I think of the musicians who seem to be the absolute most connected to music, Stevie is on that list.

This Ed Sullivan / Stevie Wonder set has got to be one of the cheeriest looking sets I've ever seen. Who doesn't love a colorful 60's rainbow?
