On this day in 1938, the first issue of Action Comics was released, introducing SUPERMAN

Cleveland rocks! That's where Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster were living when they created Superman. There's something about Cleveland! What other men were created in Cleveland? Wes Craven, Paul Newman, Drew Carey, Fred Willard, Henry Mancini, and, most importantly, my dad - Superdad!

It's less than a week until Father's Day, but if you want to get your dad the June 1938 Superman comic book, it will cost you more than 10 cents. Last year, the June 1938 comic shown in the video sold for $317,199.90 more than what it cost in 1938. I'm guessing the bidding was faster than a speeding bullet AND more powerful than a locomotive!
