Christmas 25 Years Ago: 80's Electronics - VCRs, TVs & Video Cameras

While prices on almost everything else have gone up in the last 25 years, the price of a TV, video camera & VCR are actually a better deal this Christmas than back in mid 80's. For the same price as the televisions shown in the video, today you can buy a much higher quality TV that takes up less space. Video cameras are much cheaper, no longer big and bulky, and the quality of the video is so much better. I would have never guessed back then that people would one day be able to use their cell phones as a video camera (or that cell phones would even exist). While VCRs were starting to go down in price in 1985 (I'm sure they were still priced in the hundreds), just a couple weeks ago I saw DVD players advertised as low as $10 for the Black Friday sales.

Will electronics be an even BETTER deal at Christmas 25 years from now? Hard to imagine what's in store!
