Avoid the swine - wash before you dine. No more germy germs!
For those who have been following the swine flu outbreak on news channels to see where it is hitting next, I thought you might enjoy a funny break from all this time spent on swine.
This is a parody of 1950's educational films, using actual clips from that era (although with clever narration and editing, as you shall see). It's called "Germs and You". Although this was created before the swine flu outbreak, it suits the current state of our minds right now, as we have turned into germophobmaniacs.
Thank you to stuckinfresno for the laughs!

OMG! this was the funniest!!
loved this. I'm so tired of all the panicky people at work. Freaking out making me gag because they keep sprayin Lysol everywhere every 5 minutes. The really eat that gooblilygook media hype up don't they? "They"....hahahaha "They" ba ba said the sheep.
My hands are sore from scrubbing them
just kidding. :-)
Obviously we know that there really is a flu and that we need to be very cautious about spreading germs and washing hands. But, the fact that it is on TV 24-7 is a bit much. It reminds me of what Marilyn Manson said in the movie "Bolwing for Columbine" - that fear sells products. People are more likely to tune in if they are scared of something, and if they tune in, ratings go up, and commercials / products sell better.
I remember during the anthrax scare people were wearing gloves to open mail or they were even afraid to open the mail at all. I admit, I get a bit more cautious during times like these. I certainly don't want to get the flu, and I do know that it could spread like crazy. But, the way it is on TV 24-7 is probably freaking some people out to the point that they are locking themselves inside their houses already, showering ten times a day to scrub germs off.
