Archie (from the comic strip) is finally getting married this year!

This is the year of marriage surprises. David Letterman got married. Joy Behar from The View will be getting married. I'm a fan of both of them. And, I'm sure they won't mind that I am including their names with Archie, a comic strip character. ;) One major difference (besides the fact that Archie doesn't host a talk show) is that Archie still hasn't chosen who he will marry, while David Letterman and Joy Behar have already been in commited relationships for years.  Will Archie marry Betty or Veronica? What does his buddy Jughead think?

The video above shows "Archie's Funhouse", the Archie show that I remember as a child,  although others have different memories of Archie (I did read the comics sometimes too). I wasn't sure how much I would remember of this show. The kids dancing along with the cartoon characters started to bring my memory back, but what really brought my memory back was the voices. The voice of the weightlifter, Big Moose, is one that I remember imitating with my brother and friends when we were little. Also, I remember the scientist and the way he pronounced certain words. He had great inventions, such as that burglar alarm. I always wished I could create a chain reaction contraption (with a domino effect) the way he did. The game "Mouse Trap" was supposed to fulfill that wish in some way, but part of the game always fell apart before it could get to the end.

Congratulations Archie! Maybe the woman who doesn't get chosen can be on the show The Bachelorette. And then, Dancing with the Stars.

Hey Retropolis

The theme I remember is the "Sugar, Honey Honey" theme.
Muose Trap was never as good as the commercial. It was do disappointing.
I want to see cartoons on Dancing With the Stars. Paula Abdul dances with a cartoon in one of her videos. It can be done.
