1930's Home Movie in Vincennes, Indiana
This is from a collection of home movies posted by bdumes to youtube. He has a beautiful collection of home movies of his family that is worth checking out.
This one is titled "1939 Sylvia and Fannie Dumes Fishman". I love the way she laughs so hard that she even bends over in laughter. Sylvia made me smile and laugh just by looking at her, which is appropriate for today - April Fools Day. How wonderful that someone we never had the chance to meet can continue to make people smile and laugh 70 years later - thanks to home movies.
She had a movie star charm about her, and seemed to be so full of life with a bright future ahead of her. That photo of her behind Evans Hall at the University of Indiana showed her glamorous side. I was sad to see what happened to her; that actually came as a shock to me. I didn't even know her, but it still came as a shock. I thank her for making me laugh today.

She had style
I want a high waisted skirt like hers. She made me smile when she was laughing. Now I just saw the ending. That is so sad what happened to her. She seemed like a sweet woman and her mom too. That was a shock to me too. Only the good die young. Peace, Sarah
